Jawahar Education Society’s Vaidyanath College Parli-Vaijnath is a prime Educational institution in Beed district. It was established in June 1968 . Parli vaijnath is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas in India. It is believed that the temple was renewed by Ahilyabai Holkar in the sixteenth century .The Educational facilities were very poor before 1968 .The students aspiring college education had to go to Hyderabad, nearly 400 kms away from this place .The Industrialization was miles away .
The formal inauguration of the college was done by late Shri Shankaraoji Chavan then the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra. The Motto of our college is “Satyam Dnyanamnantam Brahma”, the meaning is ‘The Truth full of Knowledge is the Principle known as Brahma.’ The college was established in rural area with the Vision ‘To impart quality education to educationally backward people of this region. The new building was inaugurated by Hon. Shankaraoji Chavan, then the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Since the beginning, our college is well known for offering B.A., B.Sc. and B.Com programs.
The College was assessed and accredited at grade ‘B’ in January 2004 and in 2012 also accrediated ‘B’ grade Since then, we are trying to reset the values of education under the guidance of Shree Jugal Kishor Lohiya Chairman Jawahar Education society. We want to shape our students into liberal and responsible citizens. We have changed the previous calendar of the college and focused on job oriented courses like BCA and Sericulture and other departmental courses. We are trying to mold our students as an integral part of our society. Most of the faculty members are involved in cultural and social activities
