Vaidyanath Collge is one of the leading institutions in the Marathwada region that imparts education to the needy and underprivileged students from rural area. In 1968, the renowned persons from all walks of the society established this institution with a motto “Satyam Dnyanmanantam Brahma” which means “The truth, full of knowledge is the principle known as Brahma”. The visionary statesman Late Gopinath Munde, former deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra and the then Union Rural Development Minister of India was the president of this institution during the period of 2005 to 2014. We strive to fulfill the vision and mission of our institution through quality education. It aims to strengthen the five core values of NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council). Our College offers three programs (Arts, Science and Commerce) at the undergraduate and seven courses (English, Hindi, Sociology, History, Political science, commerce, Zoology and Chemistry) at the postgraduate level. Admissions to the PG courses are strictly given on the basis of merit through entrance test. The College has recognized research center in the subject Chemistry with intake capacity of 10 students. The College possesses well equipped science laboratories, indoor games hall, gym, language lab, girls’ hostel, and vast library. Almost, all teachers are highly educated and pursued Ph.D. degrees from the reputed Universities. Our institution believes that the present undergraduate as well as postgraduate education in the disciplines of Arts, Commerce and Science will facilitate quality education for fulfilling the dreams of students. The College secured “B” grade in II cycle of NAAC. The College secured “B+” grade in III cycle of NAAC. The College aims to provide effective methods of teaching learning and evaluation to make the students a global competent and self-sufficient in the tomorrow’s challenging world. The College has outstanding history of Akhil Bhartiya Marathi Sahitya Sammellan took place in the premises of College in 1995. In the last five years, almost 40 cadets of NCC are placed in Armed Forces, Police Departments and Border Security Forces.
