In 1972 Education Society’s full–fledged physicalEducation department has been established   Mr. Mirjawed first teacher to be appointed in the department of physical education.In 1995- 96, the university allowed us to introducephysicalEducationoneoftheoptionalsubject at graduate level. This subject has been started on purely non–grant basis. In the same year, Mr. P. L. Karad appointed as a lecturer in Physical Education. Dueto his effort and personal interest, the college has conducted many inter tournaments.This subject was started because we have good atmosphere for games it was our objectivetomakethestudent familiar with the theory part of the subject. Our collegehas conducted many inter collegiatetournaments.thehard work and coaching helped our students to bring many shields and trophies to our college. Many student of our collegehavebeen selected for inter-university as well as state-level tournaments.

InFeb.2006 Mr. MirJawedAliretired and Dr.P.L.KaradbecametheHeadof theDepartment.The department has facilities of play grounds such as volleyball, Kabaddi, kho-kho, ball badminton, throwing events and jumping pits along with thesewearehaving facilities of wrestling mats, table tennis, chess carom board multi-gym & weight lifting set& also having 400 M Track & Indoor Hall with Badminton court. . Every year our department arranges various competitions at college level on theoccasion of annualsocialgathering of thecollege. This is known as “Annual gathering sports meet” we give general championship on the basis ofthe best individual performanceof a student in two groups, men &women. Thewinners in all the competitionsare givencertificates, shields&medalsontheoccasionofannualday.Everyyear,inthe departmentalmeetingwe decide in how many inter collegiatetournamentswehaveparti cipated. Then thecoaching  campfor thosegamesisarrangedon thecollegeground.The teamsforvariousintercollegiategamesareselected through thesecoaching camps. Intercollegiatetournament of Volley Balland Kabaddimenheldin our college. In this tournament ourcollegewaswinnerteaminvolley ball. In 2011Dr. V. V. Bendsure appointed as full time Assistant Professor.
